At SariyaDekho, we value your privacy and believe you should always have full control over your personal information. Whether you are a regular buyer or a registered shop owner/dealer, you have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and all personal data associated with it at any time.

1. How to Request Account Deletion

You can request the deletion of your account and data using either of the following two simple methods:

FASTEST Method 1 — Email Request

1. Send an email to Support.sariyadekho@gmail.com from the email address registered with your SariyaDekho account.
2. Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request - [Your Registered Phone Number / Email].
3. In the body of the email, briefly state that you would like to permanently delete your SariyaDekho account and associated listings.

ONLINE Method 2 — Online Request Form

Fill out the deletion form on our contact page with the following information:

• Registered Full Name
• Registered Mobile Number / Email Address
• Role: (User / Dealer / Shop Owner)
• Reason for Leaving (Optional) — helps us improve our platform

2. What Happens When You Request Deletion?

Once your deletion request is verified and processed:

• Profile & Credentials: Your login credentials, registered name, email address, and phone number will be permanently removed from our active database.
• Dealer & Shop Listings: If you are a listed dealer, your shop profile, product listings, uploaded images, and business details will be immediately unpublished and deleted from public search results.
• Inquiry History: Any contact records or price inquiry logs attached to your profile will be sanitized or permanently purged.

4. Data Retention Policy (Exceptions)

In accordance with legal, regulatory, and security standards, certain limited information may be retained temporarily even after your deletion request:

• Security & Fraud Logs: Technical server logs (such as IP addresses and device identifiers related to security incidents) may be retained for up to 90 days for abuse prevention.
• Legal & Tax Compliance: Records related to official legal complaints, dispute resolutions, or tax obligations (if applicable) will be retained as required by Indian law.
